The objective of this project is to provide an SDK and root file system for the Raspberry Pi that is lightweight and takes full advantage of the hardware available. The resulting image produced is small distro known as Bsquask (linux). hacking-gemtek is a reverse engineering project for a Gemtek home router (WVRTM-127ACN), distributed in Italy by Linkem, with the purpose to modify the firmware, gain root access, recover default WiFi password. It includes an emulation environment based on Qemu and Docker, a firmware modification kit and a default WiFi password generator. The project follows the reverse engineering process described by the author in a talk at Hack In Paris 2019.
